T H E G A M E N O W S T A N D I N G I N T H E S T A T I O N
It has been pointed out by some of the members that even though we are all by
defination ST users, it doesn't necessarily mean that the only computer
system that we all use is the Atari, and that some bits and pieces on other
formats wouldn't go amiss.
With this in mind, we've instigated the Sony Playstation section where users of
this particular console can advertise stuff to sell or to swap, anything they
might want to buy or just bits and pieces of information that any readers
might come across from various sources that they might think that fellow
Playstation owners would find interesting or useful.
Given the excellent quality of the games and the falling price of the actaul
console, allied to the "Platinum" range of games retailling for £19. 99, (and
even less if you buy mail order), it certainly is something that more and
more people will find a home for on their computer desk.
One of the things that might be a good idea would be to start a "Help"
section where anyone who is having a bit of trouble with any particular game
could write in to and I'll have a scan around for a cheat or tip to help you on
your way.
Hopefully there will be enough people within the club owning, or at least
interested in, the Playstation to keep this section alive and kicking, and of
course it will end up being as self determining as the rest of the magazine. If
there is enough interest then it'll go along no bother, and if there's not then
it won't last much. So, the best thing for anyone to do that is keen to keep
this section as a regular fixture would be to contribute in a big way with an
article, review, sell, swap, or whatever, or the second best thing, to at least
drop off a letter to the letters page so that we can gauge how
successful this idea is. I don't mind digging out the articles if I know
there's at least someone reading them.
Well, I guess that's it for this bit. Please carry on with the rest of the
section and hopefully you'll find something you find interesting to read.
